Rega’s current CD player packs a compact punch.
Identical in size to their Brio – R and DAC, the Apollo – R does one thing, play RedBook CDs and it does it very well. Perhaps better than anything else in it’s price category. For those who still crave more, the DAC can be added at a later date, making for an extremely versatile digital front end, capable of playing shiny discs when you want to and high resolution files as well.
